To make an online money transfer to India, just follow these steps:
You’ll need a US driver’s license, passport or government-issued ID to register online with Western Union®. When sending money to India, your receiver’s account number, IFSC code and the purpose of the transfer are required. We might also ask for additional information about your source of funds and occupation, depending on the amount of money you would like to send, when making a ‘large amount’ money transfer.

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a fast and real-time payment system that lets you send and receive money using a UPI ID, no bank details required.
A UPI ID is linked to your bank accounts (for example name @paytm, number@ybl or name@okbank)
You can send up to 200,000 INR to an UPI ID
Ask your receiver to open their payment app (for example Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), then, ask them to go to their name or profile and find their UPI ID or Virtual Payment Address (VPA)
Simply paste you receiver’s full UPI ID and we’ll send the payment directly to that ID
