Stable by Western Union is a Visa® spend card that lets you spend, withdraw cash, and shop online just like any other card. The value on the card is stored in US Dollar Payment Token (USDPT).
USDPT stands for US Dollar Payment Token. It is a digital version of the US dollar (USD) , . For every USDPT issued, an equal amount of USD is held in reserves such as bank deposits, U.S. Treasury bills, and other cash equivalents.
Yes, USDPT is related to cryptocurrency, but more specifically, it is a stablecoin. Its purpose is to provide a fast, low-cost way to send and receive money worldwide, 24/7, combining the stability of US dollar with the efficiency of blockchain technology.
